GPX files are the standard format for motorcycle navigation. KML files are also included for viewing and planning purposes.

🏍️ Harley-Davidson Navigation

Harley-Davidson systems work best when GPX files are imported through the Ride Planner and converted into routes.

Steps:

1. Download the GPX file

2. Go to the Harley-Davidson Ride Planner website

3. Import the GPX file

4. Review and adjust the route if needed

5. Save the route and sync it to your motorcycle using the Harley app

Harley systems may change the route based on your navigation settings. Always review the route before riding to make sure it follows the intended path.

🧭 Garmin GPS Devices

Garmin devices work best when GPX files are used as tracks, not routes. Some Garmin models may prompt you to convert tracks to routes. Decline this option and follow the track instead.

Steps:

1. Download the GPX file

2. Connect your Garmin device to your computer

3. Copy the file into the “GPX” folder on the device

4. Disconnect the device and power it on

5. Open the track and select “Show on Map”

6. Follow the track while riding
