🏍️ GMRW This Week in Washington

This Week in Washington | September 28–October 4, 2026

We're a day late getting This Week in Washington posted, but we had a pretty good reason.

GMRW spent Sunday on the road covering the 43rd Oyster Run in Anacortes. From an early-morning breakfast at Sound Harley-Davidson to oysters at Evelyn's Tavern, thousands of motorcycles filling Commercial Avenue, the Seattle Cossacks, and a final stop at the packed Conway Tavern, it was a fitting way to close out September and one of the best Oyster Run turnouts we've seen in several years.

Now the calendar rolls into October, and Washington's motorcycle season isn't finished yet.

The week starts with familiar Tuesday, Thursday and Friday meetups before Saturday explodes with eight events across the state. There's a cancer benefit poker run out of Sumner, the Fallen Biker Ride from Still Sneakers in Pasco, the 7th Annual Pumpkin Patch Ride from Napavine, Freewheeling Riders in Marysville, Bike Day at the Mill in Milton, the Check Your Pumpkin Run from Centralia, and Saturday evening bike nights in Anacortes and Sultan. Sunday closes the week with the Best in Pink Bike Show/Wigged Out Ride at Grit City Harley-Davidson in Tacoma and an end-of-season bike wash in Lake Stevens.

We're also beginning work on the October GMRW Motorcycle Events Map. If you're organizing an October ride, rally, benefit, memorial, poker run, bike night, swap meet or other motorcycle gathering that isn't on our calendar yet, get those flyers to us now if you want to be included.
