Heading over Chinook Pass this season? Riders traveling Highway 410 can currently receive a 15% food discount at Whistlin' Jack's Outpost & Lodge by mentioning GMRW when ordering food in the restaurant.
Located along Highway 410 near Cliffdell and the Naches River, Whistlin’ Jack’s has been a well-known mountain stop for travelers, hunters, riders, and outdoor folks for decades. The original lodge dates back to the early 1900s, while the resort itself has operated in the area since the 1950s. Today the property includes lodging, cabins, camping, a riverside restaurant, a historic fireside lounge, fuel, and a general outpost for travelers crossing Chinook Pass. (Whistlin' Jack's)
Several riders from the GMRW community have already stopped in this season and reported that the food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. Honestly, it’s exactly the kind of place you hope still exists when riding mountain highways — cold drinks, solid food, a place to cool off for a while, and a bunch of motorcycles parked outside while people swap road stories and bullshit about weather, tires, and near-death experiences in blind corners.
If you’re crossing Highway 410 this year, it’s worth the stop.
