Road Hazard Left / Road Hazard Right – Riders use their left foot or right foot to point out hazards in the roadway that may not be immediately visible to riders behind them. Common hazards include debris, potholes, gravel, roadkill, slick surfaces, branches, or other obstacles that could create a safety risk. The rider points with the foot on the same side as the hazard, allowing following riders to identify and avoid the obstacle while maintaining control of their motorcycle.
